ADVICE: HOW TO GET HER TO DITCH HER MAN

Here's a question from a guy wanting to know how to get the girl he's enamored with to ditch her boyfriend, and start dating him.  Read the following from SheHasaBoyfriend2:

First let me say I'm not looking to have her cheat. I'm not looking to force her to choose her boyfriend or me. I'm not looking to play dirty in anyway.

There is a girl that I've known for 15 years. We dated when we were 15 years old. And like most early high school relationships it was awkward, slobbery, and didn't last long.

Fast forward a few years and we got in touch again in our college years. At the time I didn't think much of her more than a friend. She had some different interests than me and it felt like we were looking for different things.

We split up again when I moved out of town to go to university for 4 years. When I came back and started hanging out with her again I realized how amazing she is. When I describe the type of woman I am looking for I realized I am describing her.

We're both still really close and we hang out one on one a lot. I'm not a sleezeball so I don't make moves on her while she has a boyfriend. And I'd like to keep it that way.

But how can I approach this in a way that I can kinda ninja my way in? Show her that I'm the better man for her without coming off as a shithead.

I think the two of us are fairly evenly matched as far as competition goes. We're both tall, slim and attractive guys. Though he may have me beat on charm with his damned Spanish accent.

I do have a better more stable job. But I don't think that matters much with this girl.

I think my biggest strength is how much we have in common. There are a few things we both like doing that he doesn't like doing. So it gives us an excuse to spend time with each other.

A few things I won't do:

No physical contact. She's in a relationship and I respect that. I also actually like the guy she's with. He's fun to hang out with. So I don't want to treat him like that.

No confessing my feelings. I just don't think it's very fair to her and I think it lacks tact.

So I guess bottom line is this: how would you want a man to handle this sort of situation?
